Melon Mission is a day school in Nakuru, Kenya, that provides education, food, clothing, health care, and other basic needs for more than 400 school-age children living in Kwa Rhoda village.
The village is a densely populated, informal settlement within the city that is plagued by the challenges that come with generational poverty. That being said, it is also a place filled with kind, brilliant and talented people, all working towards a better life for themselves and their families.

The Melon Project aims to project Melon Mission's voice in the world, for the community they serve and to provide financial and material support for the school's programs, services, and goals. The Melon Project is firmly aligned with Melon Mission in the belief that all children deserve opportunities to fulfill their potential and look forward to promising futures.
